🌱 Change is Growth... Growth is Change. 🌱

Hello there, Reader -

It’s been a month since my dad left to become a guardian in the sky.

And somehow, he’s more present than ever. In the smell of fresh coffee. In old songs on the radio. In memories that surface out of nowhere. In the quiet way his laugh echoes as I pass by a picture on the wall. His presence is just now… different.

I’ve spent the past few weeks in the UK, driving the country roads where I grew up.

The roads are the same (with a LOT more buildings!)... but everything felt different.

Because I'm different. I’m not the same person who drove those lanes before. There’s something deeper and more evolved within me now. So everything that I now experience is also through a different perspective.

And that is the same for all of us - change is a fundamental part of growth. You cannot step in the same river twice - literally - despite it looking the same at a glance.

Grief is a part of growth.

We often think of growth as light-filled and forward-moving — but real growth includes loss.

Change is a fundamental part of evolving, which means we’re constantly letting go of what (or who) once was - including ourselves and our ever-evolving sense of self.

And that letting go? It hurts.

Even when it’s right.

Even when we’re ready.

Grief isn’t the opposite of growth — It’s acknowledging the creation of what’s next, while honoring where we’ve been and what shaped us.

With the Growth Cycle, we don’t bypass this part. We integrate it.

I’m currently coming to the end of my Phase #1 of the Growth Cycle: Self ||The Awakening.

It’s that threshold moment after everything changes. After the dark. After the pause. After the undoing and unfolding…

Where you're asked: Who are you now? Who are you becoming?

It’s the rebirth. The beginning. The kind that rises naturally—like the Phoenix - not in spite of the fire, but through it.

And it’s not just me feeling this shift.

Every single client session I’ve had this week has echoed the same thing - regardless of their own personal phases:

They’re standing at the edge.

Where nothing is what it was. Where the old identity no longer fits.

Where the only way forward is to let go — and fly.

They’re feeling the call to reinvent themselves from the ground up. To surrender to the version of themselves that’s just beginning to emerge.

To stop gripping the old ground and start trusting their own wings.

This is what Phase #1 is currently teaching me:

• You don’t have to go back to who you were to find yourself.

• You’re being invited to move forward - and come home to who you really are.

And growth? It doesn’t erase what was.

It adds to it.

Like a tree, you don’t lose your old roots—you deepen them. You put on new rings. You stretch upward and inward. You become more whole.

What’s one way you can honor where you are, right now?

Who you’re becoming?

Standing here on the edge of something new,
